This is an entry-level programme ideal for those beginning their career. It equips learners with the essential knowledge, skills, and behaviours to get started in their desired industry. Before starting, you’ll complete a skill scan to assess your current knowledge and ensure this apprenticeship is the right fit for you. You must also:

  • Be aged 16 or over
  • Not be in full-time education
  • Live in the UK or EEA and have ordinarily been resident for the past 3 years (some exceptions may apply).
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Be in (or moving into) a suitable job role that provides opportunities to develop and demonstrate the required skills and behaviours – a role suitability overview will be completed prior to starting to ensure alignment between your job role and the apprenticeship
  • Be willing to complete Functional Skills qualifications during your apprenticeship if required, depending on employer policy, the nature of the qualification, or if you don’t already hold the necessary English and Maths qualifications
