Course Information
Our Lean Manufacturing Operative Programme is designed to build confident and capable individuals who can operate effectively within fast-paced operational environments.
While traditionally associated with manufacturing, this programme is highly transferable acrossfacilities services, cleaning operations, logistics, and wider operational roles, where consistency, efficiency, and process improvement are critical.
By focusing on lean principles and practical application, learners gain the skills to improve processes, reduce waste, and contribute to stronger operational performance from day one.
This is an entry-level programme ideal for those beginning their career. It equips learners with the essential knowledge, skills, and behaviours to get started in their desired industry. Before starting, you’ll complete a skill scan to assess your current knowledge and ensure this apprenticeship is the right fit for you.Â
 You must also:
Be aged 16 or over
Not be in full-time education
Live in the UK or EEA and have ordinarily been resident for the past 3 years (some exceptions may apply).
Have the right to work in the UK
Be in (or moving into) a suitable job role that provides opportunities to develop and demonstrate the required skills and behaviours – a role suitability overview will be completed prior to starting to ensure alignment between your job role and the apprenticeship
Be willing to complete Functional Skills qualifications during your apprenticeship if required, depending on employer policy, the nature of the qualification, or if you don’t already hold the necessary English and Maths qualifications
Final entry criteria may vary depending on the employer’s discretion
