Assessment
To achieve the qualification, which can be awarded as Pass, Distinction or Fail, you will be assessed throughout the apprenticeship and in the final stages through an assessment.
The Apprenticeship Assessment period will only commence once the employer confirms that the apprentice consistently meets the standards set out in the occupational standard. The assessment process, typically completed within three months, includes three components:
- A knowledge test
- A practical test
- A portfolio of evidence compiled throughout the apprenticeship
The combined score of these three assessment methods will determine the final grade for the apprenticeship.
