Each pathway at GLP Training is designed to meet the specific demands of various industries. The curriculum focuses on practical, sector-specific skills that will help individuals advance their careers or support businesses in closing skills gaps and upskilling their workforce.
Courses at GLP Training are delivered through a blend of online learning, in-person training, and hands-on experience. This flexible approach ensures that individuals and businesses alike can balance work commitments whilst gaining essential, practical knowledge.
Funding varies by course type. Apprenticeships can be funded through the Apprenticeship Levy (for large employers) or co-investment (for SMEs). Some Bootcamps and HTQs may also be fully funded, depending on eligibility. GLP Training works with both learners and employers to help navigate funding options.
The duration of the courses depends on the type. Apprenticeships typically last 12-24 months, although some can be longer. Bootcamps have been developed to provide rapid skills development in specific areas and last a few weeks. HTQs vary depending on the qualification level and industry requirements.
Apprentices spend 6 hours per week on off-the-job training, which includes research, shadowing, or implementing their learnings within their role. Bootcamps are intensive but shorter, requiring less time away from work. HTQs offer a more flexible learning schedule to fit around employees’ work commitments, with minimal disruption to daily operations.
Graduates of GLP Training pathways gain industry-recognised qualifications. These qualifications help individuals progress in their careers or open doors to new job opportunities, often with the possibility of permanent employment or promotion.
Eligibility varies by course type. Apprenticeships generally require learners to be employed in a relevant role, while Bootcamps and HTQs may have specific entry criteria, such as previous experience or qualifications. GLP Training will assess individual needs and provide guidance on the most suitable pathway.
