  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Have a relevant job role where the learning can be applied
  • Obtain a Level 2 in English and Maths (or equivalent) — this can be achieved during the apprenticeship

Before entering the Apprenticeship Assessment stage, the following gateway requirements must be met:

  • Achievement of Functional Skills qualifications in English and Maths (if applicable)
  • Employer confirmation that you are consistently working at or above the standard required
  • Submission of a 500-word project proposal for approval
  • Submission of a completed portfolio of evidence to support the professional discussion

The Apprenticeship Assessment for the Facilities Specialist Team Leader Apprenticeship is conducted by Highfield Qualifications.

The assessment typically takes around three months and includes the following components:

  • Project with Presentation and Q&A
    You will complete a significant project with real business relevance, followed by a presentation and question-and-answer session to demonstrate its impact and your understanding.
