Leading the Change | Toward a Greener Future
I’m proud to be the Executive Sponsor of our ACT Sustainability Academy, a signature Compass programme that embodies our commitment to leading positive change towards a greener future. Our industry has a vital role to play in addressing climate change, and this Academy ensures we are equipping our people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to act and empower you to make measurable, positive change in your day-to-day roles.
By investing in our people, we are transforming Compass into a multi-billion-pound agent for change.
I look forward to seeing the impact you will make as we accelerate our transition, strengthen partnerships and future-proof Compass for the opportunities ahead.
Building a workforce equipped to lead environmental change, from kitchen to boardroom, client site to global stage.
The ACT Academy is structured around three key levers, each designed with its own distinct objectives and initiatives. When these levers work in tandem, the collective outcomes have the potential to drive transformative and lasting change.
“These are the levers that give us the greatest power to cut carbon emissions, reduce waste, and innovate for healthier, more sustainable outcomes.”
Gareth Sharpe, CFO @ Compass Group UK & Ireland
