Jack Braiden
As a training centre manager my job role within GLP Training is to organise and upkeep our training facilities and be a support officer for our Building Services learners. I joined GLP Training straight from school as an apprentice and have gained a wealth of experience, knowledge and skills in my six and half years working here. GLP Training have allowed me to progress all the way from an apprentice with no experience to a confident manager with multiple qualifications completed. I am proud to say I work for GLP Training and in a company populated with great people.

I joined GLP Training in December 2024 with a background in logistics and operations management, having completed an apprenticeship myself and seen the real-world benefit, GLP felt like a great fit. I’ve loved supporting organisations to roll out impactful upskilling and talent generation solutions, while helping them maximise the use of available government funding. Being part of a team that’s passionate about developing talent and delivering real results has been incredibly fulfilling. I have been working at GLP Training since 2020. I joined as a tutor and have progressed through the business to Account Manager and now Account Director. I started at a low point in my life, and the working ethos, company values and senior management team made me feel not only welcome but valued and wanted as well. Working here gives me a sense of pride in not only what we do, but how we do it as well. Every training company says the learners is key to the business, but at GLP Training the Leaner is the Heart of the business, and is a privilege to be part of that and seeing the business Grow, Learn and Progress.
