A Pioneering Initiative
The 5% Club is a national movement of employers committed to creating structured learning and earning opportunities — apprenticeships, graduate schemes, and sponsored student roles — to tackle the UK’s skills gap and youth unemployment. Over 1,000 UK organisations have joined this initiative, pledging to ensure that at least 5% of their workforce are in formal learning roles.


By joining The 5% Club, employers demonstrate their dedication to long-term workforce development. This approach not only helps businesses grow with skilled talent but also provides clear career pathways for individuals entering or progressing through the workforce.
Since becoming a proud member in January 2023, GLP Training has embraced the mission of The 5% Club — achieving a remarkable 9.6% of its workforce in apprenticeship programmes. These include future-focused roles like AI, digital marketing, HR, and content creation. This demonstrates what’s possible with the right training partnerships and a proactive approach to development.
