Funding

The Apprenticeship Levy

Introduced in 2018, the Apprenticeship Levy funds apprenticeships either fully or partially, depending on specific criteria. To learn more about how the Levy works, and other employer funding opportunities click here.

Employer Funding

You can choose to fully or partially fund apprenticeship training to invest in your workforce and develop employee skills.

CITB Grants

If your business is in the construction industry, you/your candidate may be eligible for grants from the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) to help cover training costs.

Student Loans

For certain qualifications and higher-level apprenticeships, government-backed student loans may be available to assist candidates with tuition fees.

Other Government Funding

Depending on your candidate’s circumstances and location, there may be additional grants or funding support available to help with apprenticeship costs.
