Trainer of Customer Service Level 2 and 3, Business Administration Level 2 and 3, Team Leader Supervisor Level 3

As a result of growth, GLP Training are now looking to appoint an experienced Trainer to be home-based and be responsible for the training, assessment and support of a caseload of learners undertaking Apprenticeships to deliver Customer Service, Business Administration and Team Leader Supervisor.

This position is full time working from home & field, with occasional travel to the Head Office which is based in Worcester.

 

This company deliver a wide range of apprenticeship programmes to organisations throughout the UK and offering a salary of £28,000-£34,000, Pension Scheme, generous annual leave plus bank holidays, business mileage and a wide range of other benefits.

 

This role will involve facilitating classroom training using online delivery platforms, alongside coaching the learners on a one to one basis.

 

Duties:

  • Assess and support learners through full Apprenticeship Standards in Customer Service, Business Administration and Team Leader Supervisor.

  • Provide additional support for the delivery of Functional Skills (Maths/English) up to level 2.

  • Plan and deliver quality training sessions via remote online platforms.

  • Conduct regular reviews with learners to track progress and ensure timely completions.

  • Organise and maintain learners’ documentation.

  • Support, advise and motivate learners, through to endpoint assessment.

  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

  • Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Recognised Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1 or D32/33).

  • Hold or working towards a recognised Teaching qualification: AET / PTLLS or equivalent.

  • Relevant Apprenticeship delivery Experience

  • ILM qualification (The Institute of Leadership & Management)

  • Full, clean, UK driving licence and use of a vehicle.

  • Must be flexible with travel and overnight stays where required.

 

Personal Skills:

  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.

  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.

  • Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learner.

  • Thorough understanding of different schools of learning

  • Good understanding of Cognitive Behavioural Coaching, Gestalt and Kline’s Thinking Environment

  • Be aware of emerging trends in learning & development

  • Full, clean, UK driving licence and use of a vehicle.
