We are back with our Apprentice of the Month series, where we celebrate the achievements and talent of our learners who are doing exceptionally well on their apprenticeship programme.
For June's apprentices of the month, we are thrilled to shine the spotlight on two of our fantastic learners, who have been recognised by their tutors in demonstrating outstanding performance, and a passion for personal and professional development.
June's Build, Trade and Facilities Apprentice of the Month
Our Build, Trade and Facilities Apprentice of the Month has been awarded to:
Shaydon Robson
Shaydon is on our Facilities Services Operative apprenticeship, and works for NET Academies Trust. Here's what his tutor, Duncan, had to say about why he was deserving of this award.
"Shaydon often takes on additional responsibilities within his company due to his reliability, hard work, and extensive knowledge and skills in managing sites. While this sometimes made it challenging for him to keep up with his coursework, it also provided him with invaluable experience and boosted his confidence significantly.
This month, Shaydon has made remarkable progress, successfully completing and submitting the learning requirements for four assignments: Feedback and Improvement, Introduction to Project Management, Preventative and Reactive Maintenance, and Using Equipment. With these achievements, he is now on track for an early gateway and EPA. Keep up the hard work!"
June's Professional Services Apprentice of the Month
Our Professional Services Apprentice of the Month has been awarded to:
Zaskia Smith
Zaskia is on our Sales Executive apprenticeship, and works for Newcross Healthcare. Zaskia was nominated by the Functional Skills Team, Trudi and Keith, and here's what they had to say about why she was deserving of this award.
"Zaskia is always first to book onto sessions, asks for extra work and does work on her BKSB. She often makes submissions to bud also. She is active during sessions and will always attempt an answer even if she is unsure. She is supportive to other learners within sessions and helps engage them if they are struggling."
-Trudi Hannon-Homer
"Zaskia never fails to attend a booked session and is always first to “arrive”. She has actually booked on to sessions again that she’s already done, just to reinforce her learning. She also submits maths on BUD and completes activities on BKSB.
She is the absolute epitome of how a F/S course should be done."
-Keith Atkins
Congratulations to our two June Apprentices of the Month! This is an achievement to be proud of.
Keep an eye out for next month's outstanding apprentices!
